Mother Natures own Christmas decorations from in and around Common Wood

P&TGRS is a registered charity – everything we do is for the local community, whether that be through financial donations or our volunteers giving their time to help in and around the village.

Common Wood was purchased by the Residents Society in 2003 following an extensive public campaign.  With support from the Woodland Trust, the Chiltern Society and the Lottery Heritage Fund, we have been able to safeguard the woods for the benefit of the local community.

For this festive season, we have foraged in and around Common Wood to create this tree using Mother Nature’s own Christmas decorations – holly, ivy, fern, dried hydrangea flowers as our entry to the Holy Trinity Christmas Tree Festival.

Fueled by tea and mince pies, we had great fun creating the tree and this short video too – we hope you like them!

Merry Christmas from all the Directors, Volunteers & Friends of
Penn & Tylers Green Residents Society

PS If you visit, do please consider voting for our tree as your favourite 🙂
