Gomm Valley Development

P&TGRS and the Ashwells Forum are keen to ensure that the Gomm Valley Development is kept to the highest possible standards and publish regularly to the local villages to ensure that everyone is kept up to date. Please read in particular the key elements that we support and the standards to which we aspired to hold any developer, in response to Human Nature’s 2018 planning application : https://tinyurl.com/GV-ResSoc . Sadly, the Inspector did not agree to this and their refusal at appeal in September 2024 was based purely on traffic issues. The application was approved by Buckinghamshire Council in December 2025, allowing Taylor Wimpey to go ahead with Phase 1, off Hammersley Lane initially, as they ‘overcame’ the only remaining objection upheld by the inspector, relating to traffic.
