Dear Resident,

We’re writing with an update on construction works at Gomm Valley. We want to keep local residents informed as the project progresses, and to make it easy for you to get in touch if you have any questions.

We expect to start the site entrance works off Hammersley Lane in w/c 6th July, please note there is not a road closure proposed for us to undertake these works. After that, you’ll start to see the groundworks and internal road layout progress on site. These works will be carried out by our appointed groundworker, Buxted.

The development will be delivered in phases. Only Phase 1 (83 homes) will use the newly formed Hammersley Lane entrance for construction traffic.

Buxted will be on site for around 27 weeks. If you have any questions about the groundworks during this time, please contact the Buxted Site Manager, Graeme Tiffin (graeme@buxtedconstruction.co.uk / 01959 563 428).

We appreciate that construction can be disruptive at times, and we’re sorry in advance for any inconvenience. We will take all reasonable steps to minimise noise, dust and disruption, and we’ll share updates as key milestones are reached.

For everyone’s safety, the site will be a secure working area. We will install fencing and other measures to prevent unauthorised access, and we kindly ask residents to keep clear of construction areas at all times.

Our aim is to run an efficient, safe and considerate site. We want to be accessible, so please do get in touch your feedback helps us manage the works responsibly.

If you have any concerns about the works, or if you notice an issue that needs attention, please contact us using the details below. We’ll do our best to respond promptly and keep you updated.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Horn
