Finance Director needed

Are you looking for a way to contribute to the village and put your hard earned financial skills to good use in a voluntary role?

 

We may have just the role for you as P&TGRS are looking for someone to join the Board as Finance Director, as our current FD has indicated a wish to retire after many years of loyal service to the society.

 

As well as fulfilling the duties of a voluntary Trustee, the Finance Director maintains an overview of P&TGRS’s financial affairs. The Finance Director ensures that effective and appropriate financial measures, controls and procedures are in place and reports to the Board at regular internals about the financial health of the organisation.

 

All the book-keeping is managed on QuickBooks by another volunteer so this role is more strategic and helps us to ensure that we comply with the relevant statutory bodies, in our case the Charity Commission and Companies House.

 

We are modernising and need to implement an investment strategy, risk management and other frameworks so there is scope for change and your input would be appreciated.
