Christmas Tree Festival 2025
This article is lifted wholly and unapologetically from Holy Trinity & St Margarets newsletter, but the photos were taken by Julie Newman of P&TGRS!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Tree Festival this weekend. The trees were magnificent, a fact reflected in the voting. Every tree had votes so clearly the competition was fierce. Thank you also to everyone who came to the Christmas Jumper Service where Roger Edwards was crowned both the winner of the best Christmas Jumper and the worst by wearing an elf jumper/shirt! SO the winners were …….
1) Little Oaks @ Parish Rooms
2) in joint 2nd Little Oaks@Tylers Green and the Holy Trinity Bell Ringers
3) The Village Pre-school
Huge congratulations to both children and adults alike at the schools and to the bell ringers for educating us about “Oranges and Lemons”.
Of course the REAL WINNER was Guts UK. Thank you for donating over £450 for them and their excellent work highlighting and assisting people with all forms of digestive disorders.
