Easter Egg Trail
Easter Saturday saw the P&TGRS Annual Easter Egg Trail take place in Common Wood. Whilst it’s good to see familiar faces who have enjoyed the trail in previous years, it’s extra special to share the woodlands with those who are first time visitors.
Friends, families and neighbours made up over 120 who explored the woods, looking for signs and marking down the locations on their answer sheets.
All those who completed the trail had their efforts rewarded with a chocolate egg, courtesy of the Easter Bunny.
Thank you to all who showed their support by attending and to the volunteers who organised and made the event happen.
P&TGRS owns and manages Common Wood along with Millar Wood and the Coppice Farm Road Greens for the benefit of the local community. Through our Friends of Common Wood contributions, valued volunteer working party participation and partnerships with stakeholders, we continue to manage the woodlands for the benefit of the local community.Together we can protect and enhance this precious woodland haven, keeping it safe for threatened wildlife, to tackle the effects of climate change and to be enjoyed for generations to come.
