Over £2,300 has been donated to charities from the generosity of guests attending the lunches.
For the last two years P&TGRS has helped and supported Emma and David Byrne at Tylers Green Village Hall at their popular Community Lunch events.
Held on the last Monday of the month*, until September 2024 all the food and extra costs had to be removed from the kind donations from those attending, before distributing the remaining £££ to charities.
From October 2024, a huge Thank You to Cook of Beaconsfield – part of the frozen food chain which offers a range of handmade global meat and vegetarian dishes, plus puddings – who will kindly be providing the food, meaning more of the donations will be available to gift to our charities, who are nominated by those attending lunch.
Thank you to everyone who supports the lunches by attending and again to Emma and David who, together with their team of volunteers, made the events happen.
The October Halloween themed lunch had 60 places reserved.
