Holy Trinity Bells Start Their Restoration Journey

The bells at Holy Trinity church are being serviced for the first time in over a century, using funds raised by the church, P&TGRS, The Penn Trust and other private donations.
All 6 bells were lowered with their headstocks to the ground level and will be taken to specialist bell restorers, Whites of Appleton. While the bells are being repaired, the bell tower will also be renovated, with the bellringing team undertaking some of the work themselves.

If you are keen to read more about the history of the church, it’s available on the Penn Church website, courtesy of Peter Strtutt and Miles Green,
