Christmas Tree Festival
Holy Trinity Church will be holding their annual Christmas Tree Festival and this year they are inviting families to enter a tree for the festival as well as local groups and societies.
You might like to think of a theme for decorating a tree for the festival.
Individuals, groups, families and friends are all encouraged to enter a tree. All the details are here christmas-tree-festival. If you would like a paper entry form you can email requesting a form (hforbes@pennsoft.co.uk) and Hilary will email it back to you. There will also be entry forms in the porches of the two churches.
This year they will be collecting for GUTS UK, a national charity which provides information for people suffering from problems with the digestive system and which funds research into the various illnesses that can occur. More details can be found at gutscharity.org.uk Gut problems are remarkably common and there is little awareness in the non medical community so we hope that this event will help with both awareness and funds.
